About Us

In the beginning...

Long before Blockbuster, Family Video and NetFlix, there was Wilson Entertainment. We began more than 40 years ago by offering 8mm and 16mm movie prints for sale from companies like Castle Films, Blackhawk Films, Red Fox Films and more. Many of these were abridged versions of full length features, newsreels, cartoons and travel subjects. Our primary customers were schools and libraries although the same products were always available to the public. As the years went by and technology changed, 8mm films were replaced by complete features on a thing called a videocassette and later a dvd. Often times these items were priced less than the 8mm abridgements and soon became the format of choice for home entertainment. In 1980, we opened an actual single store and began renting and selling movies on videocassette to the public. We were the very first in Wooster and Wayne County to do such a thing!  Hard to believe a movie rented for $10 and a T-120 blank videocassette sold for $20 back then! Eventually we expanded to 24 satellite stores throughout five counties offering movie rentals in grocery stores, gas stations and convenience stores. While we no longer rent movies, we do offer thousands of movie titles, CDs and collector items available here on our website and in our eBay store. Looking for something out of print? Chances are good that we can find it. You won't find a lot of blockbuster new releases here, but we can order them for you. Many of our new releases are over 50 years old and what you will find are the gems of Hollywood. New sale items are added monthly. Display the attractive and original art on your shelf, loan it to a friend (although I wouldn't do that), or keep it next to your TV and watch it over and over again. The choice is yours. Better yet, there is no need to spend hours trying to figure out which streaming service, if any, has what you are looking for or worry about your favorites disappearing for good.

  • HOW TO ORDER: Click on any product picture and get information about that item, availability, price and other format availability. Then just add it to your cart for check-out. Items pictured are the latest format of the item released and can be ordered directly thru the website.  Other available formats for an item are listed under the descriptions and must be ordered by email for which we will invoice you for PayPal payment. NOTE: If an item shows Out of Stock and you'd still like to order it, please send us an email an we'll let you know if we have more on the way and when it is expected or if the item is currently still available and we have it on order. Also note that items with an "S" at the end of the stock number are in stock now for immediate shipment. Other items will be shipped from the warehouse in 5-7 business days.

  •  HOW WE SHIP: We use USPS Media Mail to ship most orders. ​Shipping charge is a flat $5.00 per order. Heavier items may require additional shipping charges and we will notify of this with your order. We offer FREE economy shipping on orders over $50. Local pick up orders are also available with no shipping charges required. USPS Priority Mail, UPS and FedEx shipping is also available. These are faster but also more expensive. Ask for details. Most in-stock orders typically ship within 2-3 business days from receipt. Please allow extra delivery time for orders outside of the 48 contigous United States.

  • RETURNS:  New and unopened merchandise may be returned within 30 days of receipt for exchange or refund excluding any shipping costs. Items sold as box sets, bundles or packages must be returned with all components.  DVDs and CDs may be returned only if unopened. Opened items may be returned for replacement of same item only. Any defective items will be replaced with a new same item, if available, or a refund will be issued less shipping costs. Return shipping is the customers responsibility unless it is a mis-ship on our end. To return an item, please email us a request for return listing the item and the reason for return, We'll respond within 24 hours with instructions.

  • PAYMENTS: We accept credit cards only thru PayPal. Our order cart will take you directly to PayPal where you'll enter your information and payment method. You do not need a PayPal account to place an order.

  • GIFT CERTIFICATES, GIFT WRAP & WHOLESALE ORDERS: We are pleased to offer any of our items at wholesale prices to qualified resellers. There is a minimum order (mix and match) of $100 plus shipping charges. Provide us with your business information including a copy of your vendors license. Please contact us for pricing on the items you are interested in at WilsonEnt1980@aol.com and we'll reply within 24 hours You may also use the same address for any questions. NOTE: Wholesale pricing also applies to teacher/schools and libraries. We will accept purchase orders from them. The minimum order requirement does not apply to those persons.  Gift Certificates are available in amount and valid for anything we sell. Gift wrap is available for most items for an additional $5.00 + tax. Contact us for details on any of these items.

  • A NOTE ABOUT IMPORT PRODUCTS: Today more than ever, the major studios are selling off their library catalogs. In many cases, this is now the only way many, many great titles are available. The quality has been very good so far and we will offer these titles only when the quality meets our standards. Your satisfaction is always guaranteed. ALL OF OUR IMPORT TITLES ARE REGION FREE AND WILL PLAY ANYWHERE.
